SDF Nomex Honeycomb – Aramid Core
ATA-NH aerospace-grade lightweight honeycomb core made from phenolic-coated meta-aramid pa…
Product Code: SDF-COR-015
PVC foam is considered for marine, wind, automotive and industrial sandwich structures balancing weight, mechanical performance, machinability and cost.
Density and thickness must be selected together. Higher density increases typical compression and shear properties while also changing panel weight and cost.
See the marine PVC foam selection guide.
The MYcell-M TDS lists M040–M250 grades, 40–250 kg/m³ nominal density, grade-dependent 0.52–6.88 MPa typical compression and 0.47–4.37 MPa typical shear strength. Values are typical; the manufacturer requires application-specific validation.
